1. Load balancing beyond mere clusters - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Is there any technical reason why docked pilots can't be distributed to different servers?

3. Load balancing beyond mere clusters - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Originally by: Praetor Novak Unless CCP can come up with a way to do dynamic node scaling in real-time while preserving processor threads and memory locations not to mention SQL calls, then the only solution to Jita in the absence of some ...

4. When will Jita be fixed tbh? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
continued from previous post... As far as I can tell, this solution of treating docked station pilots as "stateless" users and assigning them to a server farm, would solve the Jita problem to the point that it wouldn't even need a queue (unti...

5. When will Jita be fixed tbh? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: xJohnnyDx There's more I could say against a queue system, but I think we'd just end up going around in circles. I'll just keep my fingers crossed it doesn't happen, and agree to disagree :) I agree that queues are a pain ...

6. The Jita Solution (its a simple and effective one) - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: xOm3gAx Edited by: xOm3gAx on 29/11/2007 17:33:28 To be honost the most simple solution and possibly the best one is to bring back the star maps of old per se. For example way back the empires were divided by 0.0. Well...

7. Xaen's List of UI Improvements - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
/signed. Yup, the UI sucks. Hopefully, CCP will come to the realization that an improved UI would GREATLY increase the retention rate among newbs.

8. When will Jita be fixed tbh? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Cambarus The problem I see with the proposed interbus system is that it will be no more a permanent fix then adding nodes to jita. Not sure if you're noticed this, but even the systems near jita lag a bit, and quite frankly ...

9. When will Jita be fixed tbh? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Xaen Here's a pretty easy fix for that: Goods that are Interbus'd are put in special sealed containers unique to the Interbus system that cannot be re-entered into an interbus shipment without being physically picked up from...

11. When will Jita be fixed tbh? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]

13. When will Jita be fixed tbh? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]

Originally by: Jennai they had the queues on at some point because Jita was crashing too much, and it was far worse than a laggy but non-crashing Jita. "Laggy" is one thing. I can deal with lag, if I know I'm not going to be in the syst...
